Ocean Isle Beach has always been home to me and home to my best memories; catching my first fish with my Pawpaw; riding a red four-wheeler around the sandy backroads and through the woods of Gause Landing; sitting on the front porch “throwing my hand up” as neighbors strolled by. Then there was the ride to the beach on the tailgate of Paw’s Silverado and the feeling of gliding across the water, riding a wave on my boogey board. Asking my parents for one more quarter for the arcade games at the pier, the way ice cream chills the evening, and wrapping it all up with a fierce game of putt-putt with the family. That’s my Ocean Isle Beach.

Now I’m married to my best friend and love of my life, and we are raising our one year-old daughter in the sleepy little beach town that has always given me great joy and peace!
